بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
A month of physical training, training to eliminate bad habits, exercise self-restraint, stamina and ability to restrain desires, develop self-discipline, strengthen determination and will, and change the regular routine for Allah, etc. This Ramadan is over. Anyone who has made all-out efforts for this month, or only a little bit of effort, or those who wish to perform but do not have strength. No matter what, as long as, whoever has once remembered Allah in this month, it is still a month full of blessings for all .
There are many psychological studies, to change a person’s habits, or to implant a new habit, a month is the most basic number of days to start anew. The most important thing is whether the person himself has the determination to continue this restraint, persistence, and self-discipline, or whether he will return to his original state or indulge his own desires after Ramadan, it’s up to a personal choice and determination. Easier said than done, fortunately, this Ramadan month will return every year, but whether there is still a chance to see Ramadan again, only Allah knows.
The Ramadan created by Allah may have left, but Allah still exists forever, He has never left, He still accepts repentance, gives forgiveness, His mercy surrounds all He has created, and He never needs to rest, Allah is never slack in those who pray, repent and give thanks to him.
Narrated Abu Ayyub:The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone fasts during Ramadan, then follows it with six days in Shawwal, it will be like a perpetual fast.
Besides this hadith and Ramadan, there are many times when Allah is actually still near to us, for example, five prayers a day. (17:78) Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur’an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.
This verse makes it clear that the daily Fajr is witnessed by angels.
According to the version recorded in the Two Sahihs from Abu Hurayrah, the Prophet said:
The angels of the night and the angels of the day come amongst you in successive groups (in shifts). They meet at the Morning prayer (Fajr) and at the Mid-afternoon prayer (‘Asr). Those who stayed among you at ascend, and their Lord asks them, although He knows best about you, “How did you leave My servants” They say, “We came to them when they were praying and we left them when they were praying.”) `Abdullah bin Mas`ud said, “The two guards meet at Salat Al-Fajr, and one group ascends while the other stays where it is. ”
For another example, every night before the morning prayer, the last third of the night, the night prayer or late night prayer to Allah, also known as Tahajjud. (17:79) And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.
Allah loves those who go to bed after Isha and then wake up with difficulty just to pray to Allah, it is recorded in Hadith, every late night Allah says, Whoever seeks forgiveness at this time, I will forgive him ; whoever seeks help at this time, I will help him; whoever seeks blessings at this time, I will grant him. (50:16) And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein.
In addition, if one fasts for Allah on days other than the month of Ramadan, Allah will be near too, and all prayers and repentance will be replied by Allah.
Then, on the Friday Jummah, Allah is near after Asr and before sunset. Therefore, “Dua” at this time, Allah will answer, because after Asr before sunset, no additional prayers are allowed, and that’s why people are relaxed. Allah is near at this time to look for those who are relaxed but at the same time to remember Allah while many simply neglect to remember Allah during time of relaxation. These are indeed the lucky bunch.
In addition, it is the day of “Arafat” during the Hajj, a day full of blessings and Allah is near.
Also, when the Qur’an is recited, or when a group of people gather together just to study the Qur’an and remember Allah, Allah is also near.
Therefore, although it is a pity that the month of Ramadan has finished, in fact, the blessings of Allah has never been interrupted. It only takes a little more thoughtful mind to find when Allah is near.
Hadith:
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah says: ‘ When a slave of Mine draws near to Me a span, I draw near to him a cubit; and if he draws near to Me a cubit, I draw near to him a fathom. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.”‘.
Even if things are as small as sesame seed and mung bean(Chinese way of describing tiny things), as long as you ask Allah for it, Allah will be very happy, because in front of Allah, nothing is too small. Oppositely, Allah is very happy for the asking because it shows the person is in full trust in Allah.
At last, no matter whether it is a “Ramadan” or not, as long as one needs to repent and want to get Allah’s forgiveness, help, or blessing, as long as one is sincere, one can talk to Allah at any time and in any situation, and there is nothing or anything is needed in between, and there’s no time which He created can hinder the blessings and power of Allah. All praises to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
